Let's see... I've just lost my entire house, cars, personal property... perhaps my job... perhaps I have a family member who was injured in the storm. But by golly, the first thing I'm thinking about is my voting rights for an election 6 weeks away.

Did you happen to notice that conservatives tried to get Democratic votes to count in an effort to undermine our democracy in many states across the country?  Also, gerrymandering.  Low capacity for reasoning and the willingness to undermine voting and thus democracy through any means necessary has been what the Republicans have relied on to win all the elections they've won for President since 2000.[/quote]
