I had a boy and a girl but wanted three kids and had a 3rd. I think the whole gender thing is really only important to parents who are fixated on having one specific gender. There are plenty of us who genuinely don’t care![/quote]

This. So odd. I had two girls and wanted a third because we wanted three children. It was another girl and we knew very early on (and were thrilled! Three little girls. Amazing). You would not BELIEVE how many people joked about my husband wanting a boy (so sexist). It had nothing to do with gender! Ugh.[/quote]
