Successfully managing type 1 diabetes (keeping glucose mostly in a range that won’t cause devastating health problems) is essentially a full time job. It is not easy, it’s constant monitoring and adjusting and decision making and there are no breaks or days off. I’ve been doing it all day every day for 30 years, since I was 10 years old.  Now that the technology is advanced and convenient enough to make attractive to take on as a pet project for the sake of vanity pounds is just…ugh. Like whatever, do what you want, no one can or should stop you but I’m going to give you a side eye. [/quote]

Lol why are you all so bothered by my fairly innocuous opinion on this? OP asked, I answered. You’re acting like I’m demanding to see people’s medical history or I will rip their CGM right off! I can’t stop you from paying whatever ridiculous amount you want to monitor your blood sugar as a hobby. It’s a boring way to spend your time but knock your socks off I guess. [/quote]
