MoCo has a strange vibe - some uber-snooty areas (Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac) propping up the rest of the county and a population that desperately wants to think of itself as progressive but often vocally dislikes the damage inflicted by those politics. NoVa is also blue but the politics are more balanced and it's less polarized between haves and have-nots. [/quote]
