[/quote] -This is a recipe for teachers not giving many real assignments or meaningful feedback. It's easy to give crap that makes it easy to grade crap. Be careful what you wish for. Do you really want English and social studies teachers to grade on multiple choice or single correct answers rather than the the kinds of writing that prepares kids for college? For math teachers not to look at work just the answers? The teachers who get the work graded right away are sometimes super-organized people with relatively easier schedules but a lot of time they have cut corners that cost our kids in the long run. I am a parent that appreciates the teachers in FCPS who give my kids real work that prepares them and then take the time to do the real work of giving feedback. Your 'hard line' on grading is undermining quality education in my opinion. [/quote]
