You might not mean to be criticizing her...but if it came out in this post that obviously that you don't agree with her choices, it is bound to be coming out in your interactions with your sister, even if you don't mean it to.  Her response might be more defensive than critical.

It matters if kids are loved and cared for, and it seems like you and  your sister are both doing you best on those points, so stop worrying about what she is doing (really, the minivan bothers you?) and see if that makes things better on both sides.  If not have a heart to heart with her. [/quote]
