That list of colleges is meh at best.  It’s also probably misleading.  There are a few good schools on there but who’s to say it’s not the same few people who were accepted to all of them.  [/quote]

A lot of us can’t afford big name colleges.  It’s these ones you call the “meh” schools that give solid scholarships to us poors thus making them affordable.  Bright kids are big fish in those small ponds and they give merit aid to reflect that.  We’re just doing the best we can on our non-law partner salaries.[/quote]

It's all about the package and that's what this board misses. If you have a kid that had a full-ride for undergrad, they have won-period. College is so much a financial decision now. Be smart and play the long game. [/quote]
