DH is South Asian, I'm South American and when we went to each others' home country people were amazed to see how similar looking we were to our local folks. We blended in perfectly. I can totally see DH being my race and me being his race.[/quote]

with is South american? It's a continent, not a race. Is your DH much darker skinned than you? That would explain a lot...Sounds like he married down for color.[/quote]

Let's see if you can help me out here...

My mom has white skin, brown straight hair. Almost no body hair. Her mom and dad also look like that. We don't know what's their heritage. They're all very short.

My dad has green eyes, red hair, fair skin and average body hair. He's shorter than average. His mom is blond with blue eyes very very tall and average body hair. His dad has brown skin, green eyes and almost no body hair. Grandpa is very very short. We also don't know their heritage.

I came out with light brown straight hair, fair skin that tans easily, light brown eyes and average body hair. I'm very short.

What race am I?

BTW, I didn't understand the "marry down for color" comment. What does it mean?[/quote]
