Why thank god?  Because I want to actually meet my kids' teachers and see the other parents.  I want to interact with human beings in-person, at least for things that are important to me, as this is.

Virtual just means more tech issues, more people with their cameras off, or someone screaming in the background, or being distracted because it's dinner/bath/bedtime and parents can't do multiple things at once.  Videoconferencing is useful for many things.  Group gatherings is, IMO, not one of them.  Virtual BTSN is an utter waste of time.[/quote]
