Not a republican but I haven't watched them either. I already know Trump is guilty and those storming the capitol will get off with little to no consequences (except that guy last week). Why waste time watching them rehash what we already know to be true? […]

I dont watch it. But, Im very familiar with what happened, have talked to CP officers that were there, and also to another group responsible for the security of the facility. My view is that the actual event as it unfolded, and how the security infrastructure did and didnt work is extemely interesting. But the hearing isnt about that. […]
Both of you need to watch the hearings or at least read about them after the fact because you are both woefully uninformed. To the first PP, wrong. They keep releasing new and more damning information at each hearing. To the second PP, wrong. The hearing has also been about why the security infrastructure failed. Those of you who aren’t watching but are keeping informed, I don’t think OP was necessarily talking about you. You don’t have to watch them live to understand what they’re talking about if you’re reading informed sources after the fact.
Im the second pp. Im not sure how watching the hearings will make me better informed than actually talking to CP officer and the other group that runs the security infrastructure. I can guarantee that these organizations will not say more on television than they will say to known/trusted people.
Lol.
+1 Being questioned under oath, under penalty of perjury, produces information that witnesses would have otherwise kept to themselves.
