I actually found the photo essay weirdly nostalgic because it had such a weird same-but-different feel to the rural part of PA I grew up it that's also pretty economically depressed. I remember thinking the same when I took a Greyhound through Texas a few years ago -- the rural US has common vibes, even though it's wildly different culturally.[/quote]
