If you smash a metal edge into a flat panel surface the edge is getting the best of that exchange 10 times out of 10. Also any incidental nicks on the edge of the door are going to be more or less unseen whenever the door is closed. I’d suggest you try to park next to thin people: Audi, Subaru, Prius, sporty little Mazda SUV. Cars like that. [/quote]
