There's nothing AOC about it. Republicans gave up on fiscal conservatism with Trump so there really isn't any political pushback against extending the student loan payment pause. Now there may be enough griping about outright forgiveness to stop that from ever happening but I can tell you neither party has the backbone to make us resume making payments. Whichever president does that loses a generation of voters. Thanks for giving up fiscal conservatism btw, boomers and GenX. I've benefitted tremendously not having to pay my student loans so I feel like one of those farmers you subsidize or Trump when he bankrupted a casino.[/quote]
