+1. There are mice that are bred with a specific gene knocked out for cancer research. It’s all nice but when you are young and never smoked and get lung cancer spread to the brain  30 years ago you would get chemotherapy and die, badly, in weeks or months. Now we know you have alk+ lung cancer snd there are treatments specific for this type of cancer snd you can live years. But there are still few drugs, each of them work for around a year snd when you get to the last one you know there is nothing else. Animal research has a lot of ethic problems snd it is important to talk about it and put all safeguards but when you have a toddler with brain cancer you want a drug that can save your child. Did he sign any bill for forcing the VA poultry industry to raise and kill the chicken humanely? Pretty sure he will neve do that [/quote]
