Why should work be done at the state level? Do people even understand why we have a Constitution and what its purpose is? It is a Bill of Rights, and its purpose is to limit government (federal AND STATE)  and elected majorities from robbing ANY citizen of their basic human rights, freedom and dignity.

The US constitution was expressly designed to be amended, and has already been amended many times, because the founders recognized that society changes.

Well these are.my thoughts too. And I'm all for some regulations with abortion, same.with guns,.but once it's amended it will be a free for all. But I will sacrifice my discomfort with some abortion decisions and procedures for the right of all.women to determine their parenting and physical and emotional.comfort with said (impacts men too). [/quote]
