The FDA doesn't regulate bottled water like carbonated water (which is treated as "soda), unless it makes claims about the source of the water (like Topo Chico). So they aren't testing bottled water like they are carbonated water. Topo Chico did drastically reduce the levels of PFAS in its water, and says they will continue to do so. Coca-Cola also supports regulatory limits on PFAS. That said, those chemicals are everywhere (including in food) because they are in the environment. [/quote]
