It's nothing to do with "cognitive decline" when a father doesn't quick-reach for his credit card on Father's Day weekend, especially after suffering through a freaking vegan meal for his precious special vegan daughter. [/quote]

I mean, this right here. He probably thought he was doing something nice by suggesting a vegan restaurant even though that would never have been his first choice. And then he didn’t reach for his wallet because it was Father’s Day weekend. [/quote]

“Father’s Day weekend” is not a thing. Father’s Day is Sunday. You sound like one of those ridiculous adult who insist on celebrating an entire “birthday week.”[/quote]
