My guess is that it's going evolve similar to how we celebrate Memorial Day or July 4th. [b]A lot of people celebrate MLK with skiing.[/b] The point is that we remember, which we do regardless if it's burgers on the grill or an apres ski. Juneteenth festivals sound like fun. I don't want any company's marketing department to tell me how to celebrate it; this isn't Valentine's Day.[/quote]

No, they use the holiday to go skiing. That's a normal way to use holidays. All holidays get used this way, usually at least with some dose of reflection. At least most people remember MLK and think about him on the holiday. Juneteenth will fall into the normal holiday pattern.[/quote]
