It was as of our there was a checklist/menu for our parents to choose our middle names!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl on this x day of x, 1967-74. Please choose from the following pre-approved list of middle names:

Ann(e) -recommended for your Jennifer
Lynn(e)-recommended for your Rebecca and/or Rachel or Jennifer
Marie - recommended for your Lisa, like Elvis
Michel(l)e
Lee or Leigh (or, alternatively Leighanne or Leeann and therefore no middle name)

Proceed with caution, but approved;
- Dawn
- Dian(n)e or maybe Dyan 
- Nicole
- Renee
- Christine/Kristine

Stick Grandma’s name in the middle to “hide” it yet honor her - these are considered fusty, old and ugly as first names.
