She sent him to boarding school in Hawaii for one year before moving back to Honolulu for three years. When she went abroad to do her graduate field work, he lived with his grandparents so that he could finish school. During that time he lived with his grandparents. Basically she sends her kid to the best private school in their home state, and you call it abandonment. By that standard, George W Bush and his brother Jeb were abandoned by being sent to Phillips Academy.[/quote]
