My first grader seems to have easily made up for the lost ground in K already and would expect their experience is fairly normal...They're exactly where their sibling was going into 2nd who is currently in MS and that wasn't true a year ago. You guys overhype these issues. Kids are far more resilient than you think.[/quote]

My 6th grader also is doing fantastic. In fact there a dozen points over the 99th percentile every standardized test. The PP was right. The problem wasn't distance learning but checked out parents.[/quote]
