Oh yes they do. In 2020 they used false information from a source that they wouldn’t identify to publish an article claiming that there was a covid outbreak at Overlee pool resulting from a socially distanced intrateam “meet.” This wasn’t true; the rumor was started by a “concerned parent” at a rival pool, and it shut down further team activities just when kids desperately needed that kind of thing during the pandemic.[/quote]

That wasn't false. There was an outbreak. Members got an email from the Overlee confirming it but only after Arl Now broke the story. The pool handled it very poorly, it was disappointing. Odd that you're salty at ArlNow 2 years later, maybe you're on the OVL Board or on the swim team. Or just a COVID denier. [/quote]
