[/quote] Prior to this upcoming school year, the only way for a student from outside the W-L boundary to transfer to W-L, was to transfer in to the full IB program. That means that a student had to commit to doing a full IB diploma while students in boundary for the school can choose to take an IB course here and there but don't have to commit to the full program. If a transfer student decided they no longer wanted to do the full IB program, they would have to return to their neighborhood school. So much like the TJ test, the full IB program requirement was a barrier for some students. It's now been removed and students may do a transfer without committing to the full IB program. [/quote]
