This article addresses what happened at Bullis the last time they had a campus expansion. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/the-head-of-an-elite-private-school-was-celebrated-as-he-left-but-his-exit-was-messier-than-it-appeared/2020/08/13/13d1c9b4-ba05-11ea-8cf5-9c1b8d7f84c6_story.html
It’s remarkable that they still have the same board chair as they did during that fiasco.
. Which, contrary to what some Bullis parents want to believe, is exactly why it's the same school it always has been.
Sorry Prep parent, that you just lost the IAC championship again to Bullis. Leave it on the field.
Bizarre post. Proves pp’s point.
As a Bullis parent, I agree that poster is the type of parent/family that gives the school a bad name. Fortunately there are many wonderful families at the school and the obnoxious entitled ones are not as many as this forum would have you think.
Whether or not there are, in your opinion, many wonderful families at the school is really irrelevant to the issue. The Post article clearly documented the financial shenanigans that were going on and that board leadership both enabled and benefited from. The fact that the same board leadership is still in place is the issue, and when push comes to shove it will become apparent to the many wonderful families what the school is all about.
