People are so judgmental. I tried potty training my DS at 2.5, he was extremely resistant and fought it like crazy. I backed off and tried again shortly after he turned 3, and it was super easy, almost no accidents at all. Potty training your child early doesn't mean you're a better parent. It means...you potty trained your child early. That's it. Congrats OP!
You should have trained at 20 months. No resistance. -nanny here who has easily potty trained ten children from three different families before 23 months.
+1000 Same, my kid was trained by 20 months, within a week or so with only one or two accidents. Super gross to be changing a 3 year olds diapers!
Also super gross to leave your kids in pullups until they're basically off to school. Those are just an invention by companies trying to figure out how to keep kids in diapers longer. Trained is trained, barring any medical issues.
