Tell him to kill the grades at the school and then transfer. I know someone who has a pretty mediocre HS kid. Kid as "fine" but not exceptional. Did not get into UVA. Went to another school and absolutely slayed classes and activities. That kid is transferring to UVA (confirmed).[/quote]
