1. Why is Northeastern is the only target for a flame war?
2. Why parents are upset about college outcomes only for Northeastern ?
3. Why kids and parents are insecure that other people going to Northeastern?

Not so...there have been dozens of these idiotic posts...."Is Emory an elite school"? "Is Wash U considered elite?" Blah, blah, blah....OP is right. These posts are not written by people looking for useful information. They are looking to start a dumpster fire.[/quote]

Plenty of schools get flamed...but the recent flaming of NE is because of a few poor rejected souls (who, by the way, don't just write the "NEU is a joke/terrible/scam" posts.  They also write the "NEU is amazing/on the rise/better than Harvard" posts so they can write the follow up "NEU is a scam" posts.  This is how anonymous trolls operate...you can have entire conversations with yourself!  All while claiming you're not a rejected 18 year old but the mom of a Harvard-bound rock-star who would NEVER allow their kid to apply to NEU (but somehow seems to have all the feels about the school.)[/quote]
