Belonging is a big part of Holton’s ethos. We just volunteered to be a mentor family to welcome new families in lower school. Holton also has a solid DEIB program with affinity groups for students and parents. My kid is shy and quiet, her question she had about the school is “will they be nice?”  There is a strong focus on community, compassion and collective well-being, but if you have a bad experience at an event, it’s hard to shake it off.
