Gatorade is expensive water. It's fine for kids. Y'all are nutsoid. What do you do when your precious darlings leave the nest, wrap them in tinfoil?
We're not talking about college kids drinking redbull to stay awake just yet. We're talking about toddlers drinking HIGH PERFORMANCE ATHLETE'S SUPPLEMENTS. Why can't you give your child water then? No, I'm not surprised to see irresponsible or clueless parents feeding their children this crap. What I'm shocked with is doctors giving such suggestions. Unbelievable!
What we do is offer water and offer water and offer water. But sometimes, especially in the afternoon, I can't get my kids to drink water, they turn it down. I could maybe hold them down and pour water down their throats I guess. Instead, I offer them gatorade or juice, and they say yes to that. So they get water all day long, then once a day, they get a 6 oz glass of gatorade with ice in it. I don't think that is so wrong.
