[/quote] +2 Another barre lover here. I've been doing it for 6 years, absolutely has helped me stay fit and strong as I entered my 50's. My midsection is flat, my butt is high (no sagging), my arms are defined but not overly so. It's just a wonderful workout overall. I do Barre3 but used to do Bar Method. I prefer Barre3 because there's a cardio component where you really get your heart rate up - shockingly we're able to do that without our feet never leaving the ground making it a great low-impact workout.
