Then why is there never a thread about "APS - what am I missing?" It would be silly for anyone living in N Arlington to complain about the schools when there are people in Alexandria sending their kids to unaccredited elementaries and highly problematic middle schools.[/quote]

Yes, I just read the news release that JH became fully accredited in 2019, for the first time in over 10 years. Embarrassing indeed. APS deals with poverty but the schools still manage to educate.[/quote]
