For the Paris trip, we found inexpensive flights, so the flights were $2300 for 4.  Air BNB for $1900.  Most meals will be in the air bnb, so food should be another $1000.  Activities maybe another $1000 if we splash out.  So, $6500 for a week in Paris for a family of four.

I've been a budget traveller from way back.  I travel when I want to, but I always watch the budget.

The limitation is time to travel, not money.  For most things in life, if you watch the budget, you can keep prices reasonable.

When I was a middle schooler, I visited a woman with dementia and her main regret in life was not traveling with her husband when she was younger.  I'm trying not to make that mistake.[/quote]
