I’ll never forgot the first time I (then a young, single, and attractive though not gorgeous woman) attended my first professional conference. The amount of attention I received from married men was astounding. They were not shy at all! If I wanted to, I could have had a ONS with a different married man every night of the week. So I think the percentage is very high among married men who travel for work and get to stay at nice hotels paid for by their employers, hundreds of miles away from their wives.
I had that experience as a 25-year old in a Fed agency in DC. In the Office. That said, in my 52 years I have never had sex with a married man or cheated. Even with the countless opportunities thrown at me throughout my life. I’m not a home wrecker and cheating is morally wrong. I think people that cheat are scumbags.
PP here. I’m a lawyer. I don’t do ONS (or married men) so I never partook, but other people must, because these guys were so brazen about it.
NP here. Totally brazen. Even the ones as a naive younger woman would think he was a morally straight and upstanding family man, he still propositioned me. I would guess 50-75% of men cheat but the only reason the number isn't higher is that the other 25% try and fail or don't have the opportunity
This is cynical, but I agree. There was a similar thread awhile back where I shared my experiences attending professional conferences as a young, single woman (lawyer PP here) and a bunch of smug posters jumped all over my posts like "well MY husband would NEVER")... and sure, #notallmen, but trust and believe that a good number of these guys were behaving badly, because when everybody else is doing it and your wife is a hundred miles away, who's going to tattle on you?
