Allison Collins said a lot worse than that about Asians on Twitter and refused to apologize when called on it. (I will not repeat what she said here but it was bad.) She was censured by the board, and instead of apologizing even then, responded with an $85 frivolous million lawsuit that cost the cash-strapped district that she supposedly represented $200k to defend before it was dismissed. Her anti-Asian racism is horrifying and deep, and yet she was defended by the progressive wing of the Democratic party.
