That doesn't mean you should give up hope, but it does mean that you should probably have an in-person consultation with one or two of the recommendations here (my vote still goes to Maggio & Kattar -- they are widely (and, in my opinion, deservedly) regarded as absolutely the best in DC) and see where it goes from there.

Actually, the least of the issues with that person was the lack of knowledge... we're definitely willing to work and learn together with someone who'll take our case. the biggest problem was the attitude, trying to make us feel like we don't know what we were talking about, diminishing the hard work our attorney has done already.

Based on only your postings, I would say you don't know what [b][u]your [/u][/b]doing. First tip off, was when you said it wasn't an emergency because you had a "few months". HAHAHAHAHAHAH - clearly you think you are going to make effective headway with both a lawyer AND CIS in a few months. That alone makes me think you have no idea....[/quote]
