We are already at a point where masks can come off.  Our community is over 90% vaccinated.  Omicron is mild.  High quality masks are available for one way masking of those who want to continue that layer of protection.  It is time and ADW knows it.[/quote]

The vaccination rate for children in the DC Metro are still quite low.  Also, the American Academy of Pediatrics still recommends masking in school during times of high community spread.  Once it lowers, I am okay with it, but not now, it’s too soon.  I’ll take my guidance from the AAP and my pediatrician’s office.[/quote]

And others want to also take the advice of experts that they trust, including our own doctors.  Instead of forcing your risk based assessment on others - please N95 your own child and leave the rest of us to decide for ourselves. [/quote]
