I mean...I'm a vegetarian and I would just pick out the broccoli and eat it.  Vegetarian means not eating meat.  I understand if not eating anything that has touched or been cooked with meat is OP's rule, but don't act like it's some universal definition of vegetarianism.[/quote]

NP here, but I am of the school of not precious or picky too. I grew up not wasting food and eating what I was served. Now that I'm an adult I'll pick out vegetables from a meat dish I am serving my family and I just won't waste food. Don't care what touches what. So I applaud OP trying to not waste the broccoli and having the chinese place not include it in the first place if she doesn't wish to eat it. I also get that it impacts taste for certain people and I respect that as well. We are all True and all Different. [/quote]
