We are in south Arlington and her HB friends live far away so they're not really close, and she no longer hangs out with kids from her home elementary school. Well, she does hang out with one really close friend, but not when that close friend is hanging out with others. Everybody says HB is great and DD loves it so I assume it's a good tradeoff, but I don't like the friend issue. Of course you can always pull your kid out of HB if your kid really won't have it.
