Unpopular opinion: anti brunch granny is not completely wrong. Just sayin’
Well maybe men should grow up and make us want to get married and start popping out babies before we turn 30?
I didn’t say it was fair. But she’s not wrong about biology.
It's all about the context. It's not worth getting married at 25 and having kids before age 30 just to avoid potential fertility problems. It's a much bigger problem if the couple gets divorced. What's wrong with adoption anyway?
+1. By 24 I desperately wanted to get married and have 4 kids, but it took me until 33 to find the right man who I could actually build a future with and be happy with, so I’ll probably only have 2. But There’s so much more to marriage and building a life than just having kids. You spend, what, 25 years out of 50+ years of marriage raising children. There needs to be something else there when the kids are gone, and it can’t be grandkids that you see a couple times a month. 1-2 kids with the right person later in life is almost always better than 3-4 kids with the wrong person. Having a deeper connection and strong marriage has been equally as important to my happiness as having kids, I can’t imagine having to raise children in a lackluster, roommate marriage.
