I have to assume this woman had free agency here. She agreed to it. So while I am not a Ronaldo fan (or soccer for that matter) I don’t understand the anger with a man taking responsibility and raising his child. She’s essentially a Debbie Rowe.  People don’t like to admit some women don’t want be mothers (at all or at certain stages of life). Her choice. And she gave custody to the baby’s father. This isn’t baby selling a la Angelina Jolie. If that’s what happened, it clearly IS baby selling. It’s perfectly all right for her to give up her parental rights. It’s NOT okay if she’s paid to do so. What would be the difference between that and paying for an adoption? There’s a reason we don’t allow that!![/quote]
