But how many kids fail out because their high schools don't prepare them for the reality of higher education? HS should not just be learning content. In college and beyond, there are deadlines and higher expectations. I cannot imagine what it would be like to spend tens of thousands of dollars (or more) to send your kid to college when they've never really had a deadline or late penalties or only one chance to take tests/quizzes.[/quote]

At least they will have a college degree at the end of the day. I feel bad for the students who get to college and are lost because they aren't ready for it.[/quote]
