So, I attended CWRU from 2000-2004.  I ran cross country and track and was active in a fraternity.

I really enjoyed my time at Case.  It is a very different environment from so many other universities, smaller, kinda dorky, very unpretentious for an excellent academic school.

Cleveland has seen better days but is still a cool city in some ways.  Cleveland's winters are ... special... cold, snowy and long... but I liked snow so it worked for me.

The frat/party scene is, typical for Case, quirky and kinda dorky.  Case had very high participation in greek life, but the fraternities and sororities aren't what you would expect from a big state school.

Most of the guys in my fraternity were engineering students, pre med, etc.  We had parties and I had a good time, but it was nothing like what you would see at Ohio State, etc.

Basically, if good parties is a criteria for picking a school, don't pick Case.  If you are worried there won't be any parties, don't be. [/quote]
