Really?  And you told your husband not to answer the door because it was too late at night?  Are you his wife or his mommy?  I'll bet your husband is perfectly capable of handling this all by himself.  You are being very disrespectful towards him by acting as though he can't/won't handle this the way he wants to.

Also, every single Mormon I have ever met has been just lovely.  We have had several stop by our house over the past couple of weeks.  We've invited them in and discussed theology.  They usually have really interesting stories to share.  The last two young men that visited prayed with us.  And one of them sang and played the ukelele.  It was actually really nice.

We aren't Mormon and won't ever be.  My husband and I made that very clear from the beginning.  But we were able to do it in a polite way.  You can disagree with someone without acting like an ass.  And who knows....if you actually open your mind and listen, you might learn something.  One of the young men actually asked me why I let them in.  I answered honestly.  I don't think there are any accidents in life.  I believe that there was a reason God (or the universe) sent those young men to my door that day.  There was something in that conversation that was important.  I'm not yet sure exactly what that thing was.  But I did make two friends.  [/quote]
