[/quote] If you think this student may end up taking a place at a college that could be offered to another student from the same high school I would raise it with the counseling office one more time. ED is supposed to be a binding legal agreement and it sounds like the counseling office needs to be reminded of that. You could also provide them with the article mentioned by a previous poster that states schools share ED lists. After that I would leave it alone. Nothing more you can do. There is always the possibility that the family might need to get out of the ED agreement because of insufficient financial aid, and you wouldn't want to get in the way of that.[/quote]
