Used to use a french press which is great, but I have a genetic predisposition to high cholesterol and using a coffee filter can reduce cholesteral by 15% so I switched to a drip coffee maker. I make 6 cups and just heat up tomorrow's portion in the microwave. Some people may think that's gross but whatever. Works for me.
Is this a joke? Coffee doesn't contain cholesterol.
A food doesn't have to CONTAIN cholesterol to RAISE cholesterol. According to my doctor and numerous studies, unfiltered coffee DOES raise cholesterol. I've taken the liberty of doing a minimum amount of googling this for you. "Though brewed coffee does not contain actual cholesterol, it does have two natural oils that contain chemical compounds -- cafestol and kahweol -- which can raise cholesterol levels. And studies have shown that older coffee drinkers have higher levels of cholesterol. But there wasn’t much research on younger folks until recently. Filtered Coffee Is a Better Choice A study published in 2018 tracked how much coffee people 18 to 24 drank in the course of a week and compared it to their cholesterol levels. The researchers found that the more espresso-based drinks the participants drank, the higher their cholesterol." https://www.webmd.com/cholesterol-management/coffee-cholesterol-connection
