But ya know, it is unprofessional to keep people in the dark about schedules when you're just a few days out from the tournament. There are families with multiple kids and activities that they are juggling, and need time to sort out schedules and logistics.

I just read your post and I am not the person you were responding to.   I'm sorry but no tournament posts schedules weeks in advance.  Well run tournaments still require maximum amount of time to allocate field space, fill bracket vacancies and ...
Even if all of that is locked down they dont post weeks in advance as you say.  It just doesnt happen for obvious reasons.  Maybe you are new to tournaments.  Its ok if you are, just know you wont see games posted at best one week out typically 4-7 days[/quote]

Also not any of the PPs. This is simply not true. The majority of tournaments we’ve attended have had schedules out 7-14 days in advance. The more organized ones being 2 weeks. And what field assignments? This is an indoor futsal tournament held only at TSJ. [/quote]
