1)  Psychologist (although I frequently post as a teacher)
2)  All over the world.  My dad was military & fed.  
3)  After college graduation because my parents lived here.
4)  Yes, our primary home will always be here although we may have a pied a terre or two or three in locations where the children settle if they don't come back to the DMV.
5)  No, not really.  I lurked for years before finally beginning to post 7 or 8 years ago.  I try to be kind; however, I can be blunt on some of the Schools, Tweens & Teens or Family Relationships threads, when I see strings of validation for an OP that is troublesome in its content.  My focus and favor is always on what is the child's best interest, not feeding an adult's ego.  I appreciate being able to do that anonymously because some adults here are vicious about defending their right to navel gaze or to serve their own interest without regard to the impact on a child.  I would hate for my professional name and reputation be besmirched by a troll or a horde of trolls upset over my calling them out on behaviors or opinions that don't put a child's interests first.[/quote]
