20k *a year* on clothes is excessive and gross.  Just is.  Don't try to justify it.   It's ghastly.  That was really the first PPs point and it is well taken.

What you don’t know about clothing and retail is a lot.

Fyi - cheap, fast fashion from J crew is way, way worse for the environment, labor practises, etc., than paying for designer fashion bought from a house. You have literally got it bass ackward. [/quote]
