Admin asked kids to relay to parents a request to please fill out the health check every morning. That’s the only out of the ordinary thing reported by my middle schooler. Seemed like a normal day.
Those things are worthless (and outdated). I don't know anyone that still does them.
I do it on schools days, but I do not fill it out on non-school days. I just have 1 kid in APS right now so it's not that big a deal.
Last fall pur kid ran a fever for a few hours one evening. We reported it per the screener and got her a PCR test. It came back negative, but took the school nures about 36 hours to sign off on the PCR result. The delay cost our kid a day of school. Now we ignore the screener and leave the school nurse out of it. We'll fill it out if someone tests positive and we otherwise follow the rules, but don't want to deal with administrative delay for non-covid events.
