If the kid has a Caucasian last name (which is more than likely as white dad / Asian mom is more common than the reverse) and you check the white box, how would they know the kid is half Asian? If you check the Asian box or the multiracial box and have an Asian last name, then I imagine you would be treated as an Asian (ie disadvantaged in admissions).[/quote]
